Teaching about challenging topics can be tough! Join us to learn about:
- The biology of stress—what happens in the brain, nervous system, and the rest of the body when we experience hardship or trauma
- How this physiology can affect our wellbeing, ability to learn, and use of skills like creativity and problem solving
- Integrative modalities—such as grounding techniques, breathwork, writing, movement, music, and mindfulness—that can help both educators and students regulate their nervous systems, process difficult topics, and remain engaged and effective despite adversity.
Using an interactive mix of science, practical teaching methods, and experiential learning, we will explore healing-oriented, evidence-backed tools to make your teaching more powerful and your connections with students stronger.
