As the inaugural H3 Interdisciplinary Scholars, Ryan Haymore and Nagasriya Ramisetty each developed their own unique ways to unite their studies in the humanities and health.

Numerous alumni over the years have chosen humanities majors (see next page) as part of the educational foundation for their health-related careers, but new options within the College of Humanities are even more directly aligned with those career pathways.

The College of Humanities is launching a new initiative to explore and build collaborations at the intersections of health and humanities. Humans exist at the center of every healthcare visit, every piece of health-related legislation and every one of the countless decisions made daily about wellness, illness, disability, healing and mortality.
