Mykelti Nuamah

Hi! My name is Mykelti Nuamah, and I am a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in Physiology and Medical Sciences and Religious Studies for Health Professionals. I am passionate about exploring the connections between medicine, culture, and spirituality, and my goal is to pursue a career in medicine that emphasizes patient care, cultural competence, and service to underserved communities. Outside of the classroom, I work as a certified pharmacy technician, where I gain firsthand experience supporting patients and navigating the healthcare system. Beyond academics and work, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, traveling, and finding creative ways to connect people across disciplines. Most importantly, I strive to give back to the communities that have poured into me and to contribute in meaningful, lasting ways to the world beyond.
