The College of Humanities' Center for Buddhist Studies, in partnership with the Shatz Family Foundation, is delighted to announce the launch of the new Integrative Well-Being Prize, supporting innovative projects that foster human wellness by integrating body, mind, and spirit.
University of Arizona students and faculty are invited to submit creative, actionable ideas that bridge the humanities, medicine, science, and engineering. Winners will receive up to $1,000 to support their new or ongoing wellness work, which may include programs, publications, events, mindfulness or healing practices, digital innovations, or other creative formats. They will also be named junior fellows of the Center for Buddhist Studies (CBS), gain access to resources at CBS and the Health Humanities Hub (H3), and present their projects at an award ceremony.
Applications are now open—join us in creating positive change on campus and beyond. Deadline for submissions: October 20, 2025.
