Herman Mendoza Bustos

My name is Herman Mendoza Bustos, and I am a senior at the University of Arizona, majoring in Applied Humanities with an emphasis in Medicine, with minors in Spanish and Classics. As a first-generation student, I am adaptable and driven to overcome barriers as I work toward becoming a healthcare professional to serve communities with limited access to care. This spring semester, I am an interdisciplinary scholar and an intern with LPKNC, a nonprofit organization committed to promoting mental health and substance abuse awareness in South Tucson communities.
